Uzbekistan's VideoJarima portal has stopped taking new videos of traffic violations.
From October 30, 2026, the system no longer accepts new footage. Drivers must now send violation videos through my-car.uz instead, according to a notice on the old site.
VideoJarima, launched in 2019, became one of Uzbekistan's most used civic tools: 113,682 users, 4,181,928 violations recorded, and fines totalling 1,040.95 billion sums, with 48.81 billion sums paid out in rewards.
The portal is not dying, it is moving house. Whether reporting stays as easy on the new platform will decide whether citizen enforcement survives the switch.
