Russia plans to help modernise and build facilities for repairing Azerbaijani army armoured vehicles, according to the head of Russia's military-technical cooperation service.
Dmitry Shugaev told Zvezda TV that a targeted programme has been signed for the work. He said Azerbaijan also plans to use Russian-made equipment in the programme.
The deal is a reminder that, for all the shifts in the South Caucasus since 2020, Baku still keeps a working military-technical channel with Moscow, alongside its much larger defence ties with Türkiye.
