Türkiye's parliament is set to debate ratification of the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The Grand National Assembly resumes work on Tuesday, November 3, and the bill approving the agreement signed by Türkiye, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will be taken up, according to Anadolu Agency.
The pact, signed in Mecca, commits the three countries to joint defence cooperation. Ratification in Ankara would turn a summit handshake into a binding parliamentary commitment.
For Türkiye, it formalises a security triangle that links its own defence industry and military reach to two of the Muslim world's largest states.
