The Olympiad, launched by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is Uzbekistan's biggest school and youth sports project, and table tennis is one of its early finals.
For the winners, it is a trophy. For Tashkent region, it is another sign of how deep the country's youth sports bench is becoming.
