Turkiye's schools are getting a new way to track what pupils can actually do, not just what grades they get.
Under the 2027 Presidential Annual Programme, middle and high schools will run multiple-choice and open-ended tests in Turkish, mathematics and science, with results tracked school by school.
The point, the Education Ministry says, is to follow each student's learning outcomes and skill levels over time, and spot gaps early rather than at exam season.
