Speaking at the 12th Turkish Medical World Congress, Health Minister Kemal Memisoglu said Turkiye will produce robotic surgery technology in full, at home, and pointed to young people trained through TEKNOFEST, the country's big technology festival, as the energy behind that push.
His message to the hall was blunt: bring your ideas. The ministry has opened a portal, uretensaglik.gov.tr, where anyone can submit a health idea for development.
