Exit polls point to a win for Bulgaria's acting president, Iliana Yotova, in Sunday's presidential runoff.

Three exit polls put Yotova between 50.7% and 52.5% of the vote, against 43.4% to 44.6% for former caretaker prime minister Andrey Gyurov. A parallel count pointed to a wider lead. Official results are still pending and are due by November 4.

Yotova, 62, favors dialogue with Moscow and opposes military aid to Ukraine. The presidency is largely ceremonial, with real power held by the prime minister, so the result confirms the direction of a Black Sea neighbor rather than changing policy overnight.
