Parts of nine districts in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, face temporary power cuts on Monday, November 2.
The city branch of Regional Electric Networks said the outages are linked to autumn-winter preparations, repair work and accident prevention. Most affected neighborhoods will be without power from 10:00 to 16:00, with some areas in Yunusabad cut from 13:00 to 16:00.
The affected districts include Sergeli, Mirzo-Ulugbek, Shaykhantakhur, Chilanzar, Almazor, Yakkasaray, Uchtepa, Bektemir and Yunusabad.
It is routine seasonal maintenance, but for residents in the affected mahallas it means planning the day around a six-hour window without electricity.
