Germany's technology minister, Carsten Wildberger, confirmed officials received the notices, though it is not clear whether any attack succeeded.
Anadolu Agency separately reported hackers going after German lawmakers' and officials' devices. Taken together, the two reports point to a concerted effort to get inside the phones of people in government, and Berlin has not yet said who is behind it.
