Kazakhstan to take about 28 documents to COP31 in Antalya, Turkiye
Kazakhstan is preparing about 28 agreements and memorandums for the COP31 UN climate conference, which runs November 9 to 20 in Antalya, Turkiye. The documents cover energy transition, climate investment and environmental protection.
The national pavilion will run 36 events, including sessions on green energy and climate finance.
COP31 is hosted by Turkiye this year, and Kazakhstan is using it to lock in partnerships rather than just attend. For Central Asia's largest economy, the deals signed on the sidelines often matter more than the communique.
