Uzbekistan now lets mobile speed radars hide without warning signs
Uzbekistan has changed its speed camera rules: mobile radars no longer need advance warning signs. Drivers used to be warned 250 to 500 meters ahead of a radar. That rule now applies only to fixed cameras.
In practice, a mobile radar can now wait anywhere, and no one has to warn drivers about it. The change is a reminder for anyone driving in Uzbekistan: the speed limit is the warning now.
