Erdogan in Seoul: rail, logistics and smart transport top Turkiye's South Korea agenda
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on an official visit to South Korea, told the Yonhap news agency that strengthening political dialogue and giving momentum to economic ties are the priorities of his Seoul trip, Anadolu Agency reports. He pointed in particular to joint investments in railway infrastructure, logistics centres and smart transport systems.
The visit comes as Turkiye looks to deepen its economic partnership with South Korea beyond defence and construction, into the transport and technology networks that move goods across Eurasia. For Ankara, Seoul is both a market and a model: a country that built export power on infrastructure and industrial policy.
