Iran's foreign minister arrives in Turkmenistan for an official visit
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Turkmenistan on an official visit, Turkmenportal reports, citing the Iranian embassy in Ashgabat. He was met at Ashgabat airport by Turkmenistan's deputy foreign minister on Monday morning.
The visit keeps up a steady rhythm of Iranian diplomacy with its Central Asian neighbours, at a moment when Tehran is juggling nuclear talks with Washington, Gulf tensions and its land routes north. For Ashgabat, which guards its neutrality carefully, hosting Araghchi is a routine but real signal of working relations.
