Rescuers bring two lost tourists down from Big Chimgan, Uzbekistan
Rescuers from Uzbekistan's Emergencies Ministry have helped two tourists who got lost on Big Chimgan mountain in the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region, Tashkent_Land reports. The pair set out for a walk on November 1, lost their way and could not get down alone, and a call through the 112 system at 15:50 brought rescuers to the scene.
Search teams found the tourists and brought them down safely. Big Chimgan, a popular hiking destination near Tashkent, turns dangerous fast when weather closes in or daylight fades, and the rescue is a reminder to check conditions before setting out.
