WARNING: Scammers in Tashkent, Uzbekistan are sending fake parking debt messages.
Residents are getting SMS messages and calls claiming they owe money for parking, supposedly from Poytaxt Parking. The messages come from a foreign phone number and push people to a suspicious link, where they are asked to enter their car number and pay a fake debt.
Rule of thumb: a real parking fine does not arrive by SMS link from a foreign number. Do not click, do not pay, and report the number.
