Kazakhstan has drawn more than 30 billion dollars in investment from CAREC countries, and trade with them is climbing.
Trade with Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation members reached 8.8 billion dollars in 2025, up 14.4 percent, Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin told the Tien Shan Forum in Almaty, according to Kazinform.
The priority now, he said, is more mutual trade and better transport and logistics links. For landlocked Central Asia, those links are the economy.
