Gas supply has been cut to 700 flats in 26 apartment blocks in Tashkent's Mirabad district, Uzbekistan, after a leak was found on an underground pipeline.
The leak was spotted on a 100-millimetre pipe near building 4 on Avliyo Ota street, in the Abdulla Avloni neighbourhood, supplier Hududgaz Poytakht said. Supply was shut off from 20:35 on Monday so repair crews can work, with digging and repairs planned for Tuesday.
