Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov says developing the Middle Corridor is a contribution to regional integration, Report.az reports.
Speaking at an event for the 35th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence, Sharifov said Baku and Bishkek now cooperate not only bilaterally but across international organisations, and that President Ilham Aliyev's state visit to Kyrgyzstan in July raised ties to a formal alliance with an alliance treaty. He also called Kyrgyzstan's building of a Manas school in Aghdam a symbol of brotherly solidarity.
