A medic who called police showed video from the basement in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, saying about 40 people were inside in critical condition, with one person visibly seriously injured, Ateo Breaking reports. Four seriously ill people have since been brought out, according to NEXTA, citing the medic, who says about 25 remain inside.
Kyiv region police have denied unlawful detention is taking place, and earlier law enforcement sources cited by TSN spoke of one person. The picture is unresolved, and the claims remain unconfirmed.
