According to A Spor reporter Erdem Akbas, the Istanbul club plans to bring the 51-year-old to Istanbul before the Liverpool match so he can watch it from the stands. No official announcement has been made yet, so this remains a reported agreement, not a confirmed appointment.
Conceicao, who won 11 trophies with Porto and most recently managed Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, would arrive at a club in a coaching crisis after a run of poor results. For Fenerbahce fans, the question is whether a proven winner can steady a dressing room that has already cost one coach his job this season.
