The United States will bring Ukrainian and Russian delegations together in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on November 10 and 11 for working-level talks on ending the war, US special envoy Steve Witkoff announced.
Witkoff said the talks will cover post-war security arrangements, de-escalation, humanitarian measures and ending the war. He and Jared Kushner are expected to represent the US, according to a senior US official cited by Reuters. Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to the new round after meeting Witkoff in St. Petersburg two weeks ago.
US negotiators will first meet representatives of France, Germany, Britain, the EU and NATO in Brussels this week to discuss Ukraine's security guarantees and reconstruction support.
