The crash happened near Periche village in Solukhumbu district as the helicopters were coming in to land. The dead passenger was an Indian tourist, according to Report. Mountain flying in the Everest region is notoriously unforgiving, with thin air, fast weather changes and short landing strips, and the crash will renew scrutiny of flight safety on the trekking routes.
