Türkiye's defence firm ASELSAN has signed a 1.1 billion dollar export contract for air defence systems with an international customer, Anadolu Agency reports.
The deal is one of the largest single export contracts in Türkiye's defence industry, and it underlines how far the sector has moved from import dependence to selling complete systems abroad.
Anadolu did not name the buyer, which is standard for sensitive defence deals. The value alone makes it a landmark for Türkiye's arms exports.
