Türkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has wrapped up talks in Seoul with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, and the tone was unusually warm.
Lee called Türkiye a 'blood brother' in the hearts of Koreans, a reference to Turkish troops who fought in the Korean War, and said the two leaders agreed to deepen defence industry cooperation.
Erdogan arrived in Seoul on Monday at Lee's invitation, with foreign minister Hakan Fidan, energy minister Alparslan Bayraktar and defence minister Yaşar Güler in the delegation. The visit turns a historic bond into concrete defence and trade business.
