About 72 percent of the soft wheat brought in is high quality, and Kazakhstan has already exported more than 2 million tonnes of the new harvest.
A strong harvest matters beyond the farm gate: Kazakhstan is a major wheat supplier to Central Asia and beyond, and a big crop steadies food prices across the region.
