Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is visiting Berlin today for talks with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, the chancellor's office says.
Merz said Zelenskyy would arrive shortly after midday, and Reuters reports the visits are kept secret until the last moment and run under heavy security.
The trip comes as Washington pushes for more NATO funding for Ukraine's weapons, and as Berlin remains one of Kyiv's most important European backers.
