NEW: Vietnam's ROX Group has presented four city-building projects worth 4.5 billion dollars to Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, for Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand.
The projects would build housing districts for 115,000 people, according to Daryo. The scale is the point: Uzbekistan's cities are growing fast, and the government is turning to foreign developers to build whole districts, not just single blocks.
For buyers, the question will be price and delivery, not the headline figure. But the headline shows how far Tashkent is willing to go to house its growth.
