NEW: Bakhtiyar Dali, known in Azerbaijan as the owner of the so-called million-dollar palace in Novkhani, has been arrested, Oxu reports, citing Qafqazinfo.
Dali, whose surname is also given as Qarashov, is accused of attempting to sexually assault a young woman in his garden in Novkhani, a settlement near Baku. Footage from his home has also been published.
The allegation is just that at this stage, an accusation in an open case, not a verdict. The palace, with its statues and pool, had already made Dali a social media figure before the arrest made him a news one.
