Uzbekistan has presented a new UZSOE Intelligence Platform for managing state-owned enterprises, unveiled at the Economy and Finance Ministry with company representatives present.
The platform is meant to improve how state companies are run and monitored.
Why it matters: state enterprises still dominate large parts of Uzbekistan's economy, so better data on them is a reform in itself, if the numbers are actually used.
