A man has been arrested in Ganja, Azerbaijan, accused of beating his 88-year-old aunt to death.
Gulsum Aliyeva, born in 1938, was initially reported to relatives as having died of old age at her home on H.Z. Tagiyev street on October 28. Police inquiries found she had been beaten, and her nephew, 59-year-old Ali Mammadov, previously convicted, was detained and handed to investigators.
A death first written off as natural, now a murder case.
