Fenerbahce have confirmed Emre Belozoglu as their new head coach.
The Istanbul club announced the appointment on its official Instagram account, ending days of speculation that had already moved fan forums and sports pages. Belozoglu, a former Fenerbahce captain, takes over one of Turkish football's most scrutinised jobs.
The appointment is the club's bet that a familiar face can steady a season in which the dugout has become the story.
