UPDATE: The 12-year-old girl reported missing in Khirdalan, Azerbaijan on November 2 has been found, her family has confirmed.
According to Oxu.Az, the girl left home upset after an argument with her mother, boarded a bus and got off in Baku's Nizami district. Her phone was switched off, which is why her family could not reach her.
She was found on the night of November 3 to 4. No photo of the child is published here.
Why it matters: this is the ending every missing-child search hopes for, and the detail matters for other parents: a family row, a bus ride and a dead phone can turn into a night of terror before anyone knows a child is safe.
