Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have visited the AIREX 2026 exhibition, AZERTAC reports.
The visit covered exhibits including large-scale building models on display at the exhibition.
Why it matters: presidential visits set the tone for what a country wants to show off, and AIREX is Azerbaijan's shop window for the projects it is pitching. The models on the floor are the country's building ambitions in miniature.
