Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has awarded US First Lady Melania Trump the Order of Princess Olga, first class, Report reports.
The award was given for humanitarian support for Ukraine, rights advocacy and charity work aimed at saving Ukrainian children and civilians affected by the war, and those illegally deported and forcibly displaced from Russian-controlled territories.
Why it matters: the award is aimed at the White House through its most personal channel. Kyiv is thanking the First Lady's humanitarian voice in a war where children's fates have become a central moral argument.
