Iran's emergency services in Isfahan province have released an eight-minute instructional video telling residents what to do in a nuclear blast, Podrobno reports.
Do not look at the flash, shelter behind solid obstacles, and after the blast wave head to the nearest building. Inside, stay away from windows, close doors and switch off ventilation bringing in outside air. If exposed to radioactive dust, remove outer clothing into a sealed bag and wash exposed skin. Stay sheltered for at least 24 hours, use bottled water and sealed food, and leave only on official advice.
The video was released during Civil Defence Week, and the authorities did not link it to any specific threat.
Why it matters: a civil defence video in the middle of US-Iran tension reads as preparation, even without a named threat. For people across the region, it is a sign of how close strike talk has come to daily life.
