An accident in the power system outside Crimea has left the whole peninsula without electricity, Ateo reports, citing Oleg Kryuchkov, an adviser to Crimea's Russian-installed administration.
No further detail on the cause or on restoration work was given in the report.
Why it matters: Crimea's grid has been hit repeatedly during the war, and a peninsula-wide outage shows how exposed it remains. Until power returns, the question for residents is not who is to blame, but how long the dark lasts.
