Parents in Tashkent, Uzbekistan are unhappy after the Yoshlik sports complex, a childhood landmark for many, added a new charge on top of class fees.
Children training in gymnastics, tennis, karate and taekwondo must now pay an extra 50,000 som just to enter the grounds each time, on top of what their lessons already cost, Uzbek-MDK reports.
Why it matters: for families already paying for sport, a per-visit gate fee adds up fast, and the report links it to the tenant's own rent problems being passed on to children.
