Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenjenov said Kazakhstan has the technical capacity to ship via the route and is awaiting Moscow's reply, APA reports. Russia halted Kazakh oil transit to Germany in May.
Why it matters: Druzhba is one of the few routes that lets Kazakh crude reach European buyers without going through the Black Sea, and its closure has squeezed Astana's options for months.
