Turkish defence firm ASELSAN has signed a 1.1 billion dollar air defence export contract with an international customer, its largest single export deal ever, Anadolu Agency reports.
New export contracts signed in 2026 now total about 4.3 billion dollars. Revenue in the first nine months rose 28 percent to 151.5 billion lira, and the order backlog passed 30 billion dollars for the first time.
Why it matters: ASELSAN is turning from a domestic supplier into a major exporter, and air defence is now the product carrying that growth.
