Baku, Azerbaijan has hosted the award ceremony for the winners of the 21st men's and 12th women's world fire-rescue sport championships, Report reports.
The ceremony took place at a Baku stadium, closing a championship that brought rescue athletes from many countries to the Azerbaijani capital.
Why it matters: fire-rescue sport is a niche with a serious point, it tests the speed and teamwork that real fire crews rely on, and Baku is using such events to build its name as a host city.
