President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed proposals for civil drone aviation, better legislation and conditions for businesses. Plans include a single digital drone registry, defined flight zones and rules, and improved insurance and damage compensation, plus domestic drone production and investment.
Why it matters: drones are moving from hobby machines to farm and factory tools in Uzbekistan, and the new rules will decide whether that shift is safe, legal and open to local makers.
