Kazakhstan's tech workers are earning more than ever, and data specialists top the list.
Job listings on HeadHunter in October offered data scientists between 300,000 and 2 million tenge a month, with experienced specialists commanding 1.5 to 2 million. The highest offers reached 2.2 million tenge a month.
The figures come from a Kazinform review of AI, data and cybersecurity vacancies. Demand is highest for data scientists, data engineers and security specialists, as Kazakh companies race to hire the people who can build and protect their digital systems.
