Netflix is putting 10 billion lira, about $200 million, into Turkish films and series over the next three years.

The streaming company announced the 2026-2028 investment at the Türkiye Investment Conference in New York. The money will fund new series and films shot in cities across Türkiye, and the company says it will create jobs in the country's creative sector.

Netflix is marking 10 years in Türkiye, where it says it has filmed in more than 30 cities. It has also announced a pitch day for new Turkish stories and talent on November 30.

Türkiye has become one of the world's biggest exporters of television drama, and the investment is a vote of confidence in that industry from its biggest global buyer.
