Azerbaijan's 2027 budget package brings tax relief for homeowners and couriers, and an hourly wage.
Homes given to owners in place of demolished property will be exempt from tax. Couriers working for themselves will pay a flat 15 manats a month. And VAT on resold flats will be charged on the seller's margin, not the full price, for three years.
The package also plans an hourly wage system, a first for the country.
