Kazakhstan's first IVF baby has turned 30.
Yulianna Permyakova was the first child born in Kazakhstan through in vitro fertilisation. She has spoken about growing up knowing the story of how she came into the world, and the small team behind it, led by reproductive specialists Saltanat Baikoshkarova and Tatyana Kopylova.
Her birth was a landmark for reproductive medicine in the country.
