Bodies were found at several different addresses across the province, and two more people were injured. Investigators say all of the victims were shot with a rifle, and the suspects fled the scene in a red car.
Police have launched a manhunt, but no arrests had been reported by Thursday evening. The motive is not yet known, and officials have not said whether the victims knew each other.
Afyonkarahisar is a province in western Türkiye, and a mass shooting of this scale is rare there.
