Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has congratulated Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev ahead of Victory Day on November 8.
In a letter, Mirziyoyev congratulated Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people on the holiday, which marks Azerbaijan's victory in the 2020 Karabakh war and the restoration of its territorial integrity.
The message is the latest in a steady exchange between Tashkent and Baku, whose partnership has deepened in recent years across trade, transport and defence.
