Apple, Google and Meta paid more than 153 billion sums in tax in Uzbekistan in the first nine months of this year.
The figure, reported by Uzbekistan's UzA news agency, covers the three US tech giants' electronic services in the country. In total, 109 foreign companies providing e-services paid 232.8 billion sums into the Uzbek budget over the same period.
The numbers show how fast Uzbekistan's digital economy is growing, and how much of it now runs through foreign platforms. For Tashkent, taxing that activity has become a real revenue stream, not a rounding error.
