Shahzoda Mukhamedova, the wife of businessman Marat Khamdamov, has publicly alleged that Imarat co-founder Jasur Azizov spent company money on luxury property and cars in Germany, the UAE, Britain and Türkiye, including a property in London. She had previously promoted Imarat apartments in her own advertising.
The claims are unconfirmed and have not been independently verified. They come at a sensitive time for Uzbekistan's property market, where buyers have grown wary of developers after a series of fraud cases.
