The milestone engine, from Kale Jet Motors' KTJ series, was marked at a ceremony attended by defence industry chief Haluk Görgün. The engines power Türkiye's SOM, ATMACA, ÇAKIR and KARA ATMACA missiles.
Görgün said the programme has kept $200 million inside the country, and that the share of locally made parts has risen from around 20 percent to over 80 percent in nearly 25 years.
The goal, he said, is a Türkiye whose weapons production no foreign decision can stop.
